David founded DFM in 2016 and has 12 years’ experience in mortgage and protection advice. He specialises in complex mortgage enquiries and supporting self-employed clients, where understanding the detail of a client’s income and circumstances is particularly important.

His approach is personal and thorough: taking time to understand what clients want to achieve, explaining their options clearly and helping them make informed decisions. Whether someone is buying a home or reviewing their existing arrangements, his focus is on making the process easier to understand and navigate.

David also specialises in business protection, helping business owners consider how to protect the people and financial commitments their business depends on.

Outside work, he enjoys travelling and hiking with his partner, exploring new places and spending time outdoors.
