PENSIONS AUTO ENROLMENT

Auto enrolment is not an option, it is a legal requirement. Business owners must ensure they comply before the end of the staging date set by The Pensions Regulator. 

 

Those businesses that fail to have a qualifying workplace pension scheme in place could be fined upwards of £2,500 per day by the regulator. For many employers, this is more than the cost of setting up a work place pension.  Business owners that fail to set up such a scheme could face criminal charges.
